Dr. Boshoff is a doctor of Chiropractic.  Chiropractic is a manual therapy to treat ‘subluxations of the bones of the spine. Subluxations mean ‘bone out of place’. A bone out of place /alignment puts pressure on nerves that exit from the spinal cord at that level. This affects the organs and /or muscles supplied by that nerve. Increased or decreased function of the organ or muscle leads to a start of ‘de-ease

Chiropractic care aids the body to return to a state of vitality by removing interference from the nervous system through realignment of the bones of the spine to properly articulate with the one above and the one below. It thus keeps the nerves exiting from the spine free from pressure by realigning the ones of the spine. It also helps relieve pain at other joints of the body by ‘unlocking’ locked up joints.

  
 
 
             
   

Dr. Lynette Boshoff was trained to be a chiropractor in Kansas City, Missouri. She received a Doctor of Chiropractor degree as well as a Bachelor’s of Science in human biology from the Cleveland Chiropractic College.

She relates several years ago that she had a severe musculoskeletal condition which was related to her work situation and was unable to use her arms effectively for a period of two weeks. Her condition was completely relieved by a series of chiropractic treatments. This inspired her to study chiropractic and she graduated in 2002, after emigrating to the United States from South Africa.

Lynette has a special interest in treating the elderly and visits nursing homes as part of her chiropractic care.
