Question 1: Do you practice Primary Care Family Practice? I practice all aspects of Primary Family Practice with the exception of Obstetrics. I do however look after newborns in the hospital and after discharge. |

Question 2: What hospitals and Nursing Homes are you affiliated with? I have privileges and admit and care for patients at St. Mary’s Ozaukee, and St. Joseph’s regional medical Center. I also manage patients at The Highlands at Newcastle Place rehab facillity in Mequon, Cedar Springs rehab facillity in Cedarburg, and Golden Living center Bradley in Brown Deer. In addition I am the Medical Director for River Oaks group home in Thiensville, a subdivision of Luther Manor nursing home. |

Question 3: Does my insurance cover medical acupuncture? It may. However the office does not bill insurance companies for acupuncture. A face sheet is provided to the patient on request which contains all the appropriate billing information. This sheet may be submitted to the insurance company by the patient for reimbursement. |

Question 4: What is medical Acupuncture? Acupuncture is a method of contacting and stimulating the body’s natural healing systems to improve health and functioning. A treatment is accomplished by the insertion of very fine, single-use disposable needles into specifically chosen points on the body. Sometimes heat of mild electrical stimulation is applied to the needles during a treatment session. |

Question 5: Do you accept my insurance plan? We accept all major insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid. If you are would like to verify whether Dr. Lewis is covered under your plan, please call our office as well as calling your insurance company. |
